Freeze Dryer

It is designed for continuous high-volume processing of foods such as fruit-vegetables, tea-coffee, meat and seafood.

It is fully automatic and requires a minimum number of personnel for continuous operation. All motion and process parameters are carefully controlled, monitored and recorded.

The cabinet is in the shape of a cylindrical chamber designed to operate under vacuum.

The product is prepared, everything is weighed to ensure the correct volume on each tray for perfect freeze-drying, and is stacked on the trays to be loaded into the freeze dryer. Trays are placed in the machine equipped with an effective air lock system. The machine first freezes the food in the tray between -40 and -50C with the condenser condenser located at the bottom of the cabinet. After vacuuming until the pressure inside the cabinet is completely reduced, the temperature on the heating plates between the product trays and not in direct contact with the trays is adjusted in accordance with the type, composition and water content of the product to be processed. Heating plates are made of anodized stainless steel material. Glycol, which will circulate in the heating plates in terms of food compatibility, circulates within the system to provide an effective heat transfer to the product. This happens with radiation. The glycol temperature can be regulated during the freeze-drying process to achieve optimum evaporation cycles and prevent products from overheating.

Sublimated water vapor is directed towards the condenser condenser, which is the coldest area in the cabinet, and the water vapor becomes ice again on the condenser.

After the freeze-drying process is finished, the pressure in the cabinet is balanced and the cabinet door is opened and the product trays are removed from the cabinet. Freeze dried products are transferred to the packaging department. After the trays are removed from the cabinet, this time hot liquid is given to the condenser condenser to defrost. The ice separated from the condenser in this way is thrown out of the cabin floor and the machine is ready for the next operation.
